Professional Experience

Artist-in-Residence, Risley College for the Creative and Performing Arts, Cornell University, 2004 - 2006. Organized art-themed programming for the student community, such as figure drawing sessions and group art shows. Acted as mentor and peer advisor on both a formal and informal basis.

Illustrator, continuing. Clients include McSweeney's The Believer magazine, Las Vegas Weekly, The Stranger, Nitro Records, RVCA Clothing, The Aquabats Music Inc.

Artist, Haptek Inc. October 2000 - April 2003. Created 3-D models and 2-D texture maps, designed layout and graphics on www.haptek.com, authored interactive script-based tutorials and demonstrations for simulated artificial intelligence products.

Art Instructor, October 2000 - February 2001. Organized and presented weekly art lessons to 2nd grade class at Starlight Elementary in Watsonville, CA, through University's ArtsBridge Scholars program.

Intern for the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission’s Art in Public Places program, June - September 1999, June - September 2000. Filed artist slides and applications, organized catalog materials, contacted artists, assisted at artist selection panels.
